The Practitioner
This work comes from inside the room, not from observing it.
Lele Mehlomakulu is a Leadership and Organisational Effectiveness specialist with more than two decades of senior HR and OD experience across South Africa's most demanding organisations. She was most recently Head of HR at Allan Gray, and has served on corporate, sports, and NGO boards throughout her career.
She holds a Masters in Business Leadership from UNISA, a BSc Honours in Psychology from MEDUNSA, and completed Business Strategy for HR at INSEAD. She is South Africa's first Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, and one of only a handful of practitioners globally to hold the full suite of Brené Brown certifications: The Daring Way™, Rising Strong™, B.R.A.V.I.N.G., and Dare to Lead™.
Her practice draws on the research of Brené Brown, Amy Edmondson, Kristin Neff, and Daniel Kahneman to help leaders make better decisions about people and performance: not through compliance, but through the development of genuine inner capacity. She is a co-author of The Role of the Chief Human Resources Officer: Perspectives, Challenges, Realities and Experiences, and the author of Brave Beyond Bias.
Lele is the founder of mPower Consulting Services and the creator of the Brave Beyond Bias™ programme, the Courage Framework™, and the associated Train the Trainer certification.
